Say hello to the first SJA Fellows

Sep 18, 2023

In March 2011, Steve was showcasing a more powerful, easier to use iPad when he took a moment to reflect. “I’ve said this before; I think it bears repeating,” he told the audience. “Technology alone is not enough... It’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our hearts sing.”

Today, we’re pleased to introduce you to nine young creators working at that same intersection: our first SJA Fellows. This inaugural class includes musicians, engineers, storytellers, and more—all of them selected for their wide-ranging curiosity, sense of possibility, and determination to leave the world better than they found it.

The program is designed to provide fellows with the time, resources, and encouragement to test their creative ambitions—and to put their ideas into action. You can visit our website to learn a little more about each of them and about the Archive’s approach to programs.

We hope you’ll be as inspired by their visions of the future as we are.

Until next time.
